Paul’s Place

A nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life in Southwest Baltimore. Paul’s Place has been a steadfast source of support for residents of the Southwest Baltimore communities for over 40 years

SAFE Alternative Foundation for Education, Inc 

SAFE provides afterschool, weekend, and summer learning educational opportunities through vocational programs that provide real world application as well as exposing students to the world outside of their community. 

The Christian Community Center (CCC)

A mission community of Christ-centered people committed to reaching all people in our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Clay Pots 

A community center created by neighbors focused on education, health and wellness. Their mission is to provide a safe place for people in the neighborhood and beyond to explore their inner selves in a holistic manner. The goal of the center is to provide a wide range of opportunities for people to find inner nourishment, whether by attending classes, learning to use a computer, or sharing over a cup of coffee. 

The Garden Mission: Baltimore

A faith-based community development group with the mission of investing in Southwest Baltimore. The Garden Mission will be a community hub of small businesses and ministries acting together to create a small pocket of “heaven on earth” by providing essential goods and services in ways that offer dignity, belonging, and purpose to all people of Southwest Baltimore (SOWEBO).

Want an opportunity to walk in close supportive relationships with underserved young adults in Baltimore City? Want that opportunity to include coaching, team-based barrier removal, fun events and financial assistance when needed? Our very own Alan Mclain manages a community of such young adults and volunteers at THREAD where ANYONE with the right mindset can be an effective volunteer. Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs in Central Maryland

Works collectively with families, schools, and outside agencies to provide at-risk youth, ages 6 to 18, with fun educational, recreational, cultural, and technological experiences, helping them to build new friendships, learn new skills, and explore their own talents and strengths. Programs provided also promote teamwork, healthy lifestyle choices, and community involvement.

The Community Engagement Center (CEC)

Where local residents partner with UMB on mutually beneficial goals. The CEC serves adults and children and offers a variety of programs that leverage University resources to meet community-identified needs such as exercise, food, and after-school and educational programming.

10:12 SPORTS

Through Christ and Community, 10:12 Sports uses athletics to provide mentoring and job training opportunities for youth.

BMORE 4 CHRIST

BMore4Christ walks in close relationships with underserved young adults in Baltimore City through mentoring, team building and practical assistance.

CITIKIDZ CAMP

SB2W Citikidz is a Christian sports camp in pursuit of the impact and development of urban youth ages 8 -18 and their leaders through culturally relevant programs.

YOUNGLIFE

Equips adults of faith to mentor one student by walking with them in a friendship so each young person may live into all that the Lord has created them to be. Currently operating locally at Franklin Square Elementary/Middle.
