OUR COMMUNITY

At Sowebo Community Church, we’re proud to call Southwest Baltimore our home, and we’re deeply rooted in the vibrant, diverse neighborhoods that make up our community. For over a decade, our church has been a beacon of hope and fellowship, actively engaging with the unique character of the areas we dwell in. Our focus is on seven distinct neighborhoods: Union Square, Barre Circle, Mount Clare, Hollins Market, Franklin Square, Poppleton, and of course, Pigtown where our current services are held. Each of these neighborhoods contributes to the rich tapestry of our community, offering a blend of ethnic backgrounds and socioeconomic diversity.
